Let’s take a moment to thank the organizers for a great Expo opportunity.

It’s not often that smaller brands get to rub shoulders with the big guys – but Bikefest Paarl, along with some spectacular racing, created an atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. 

Our community was also a star of this show. Not only for participating in the events, but showing their support by popping by to say hi, and bringing food and drinks too. 

The weekend event that started on Friday, had every brand from Specialized to Cycle Lab, Scott to Enduren, Indola to Ass Magic, Starbucks to Ford, and so many more. 

All spread along the lawns of Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, if you could think of a cycling brand, they were probably there.

While the murky weather influenced the foot traffic, spirits remained high as participants, exhibitors and spectators chatted cheerfully, enjoyed a cold one and took in the vibe through to Saturday afternoon. 

Unfortunately racing on Sunday was cancelled with safety in mind for those racing. 

As for us, Dirt Addict, it was great to network, play a role and move in the direction that every business hopes.
