Let’s admit for a second that arranging any first-time event is a little scary.
Will people rock up?
Will they enjoy it?
Will it be boring?
Will they come back again?
These are the kinds of questions that run through the minds of those spending countless hours arranging every detail, in hopes of the smallest success.
Well, thanks to YOU, our incredible #DIRTtribe, the very first Dirt Addict Open Day can be classed as a wonderful memory by all who attended. From the amazing support of host venues, Specialized Tygerberg and the Run Store, to the very enjoyable wine tasting by Imbuko Wines and fresh banana bread by Coffee Works. Various experiences were on over, like massages by Mindful Healing, Blistex for those wanting to try new flavours and tasters of Enduren nutrition.
The mingling was the best part, besides the Gift Bags of course, but more on that later. We welcomed new faces to our community and WhatsApp group “banterers” could finally put a face to the name (or unsaved number).
Our 2023 Partners had the chance to get a feel of the Dirt Tribe Vibe and some even braved introducing themselves to the group.
The idea for the Open Day was originally to connect the Dirt Addict Members. Having launched an official membership option this year, we wanted to make it extra special and celebrate a milestone in the Dirt Addict history book. But as we do things, we wanted to create more inclusivity to those who weren’t sure about joining, just yet.
By opening the invitation, we were able to create an opportunity for women to ask questions, get a feel for the Tribe to see if this is where they belong. That is a key factor for us – that our #DIRTtribers feel that this is the place for them.
As for the Official Membership, this is an extension of what we offer our community. By creating a premium offering, we can bring added value. We also believe in partnering with other brands who want the same thing as us – to serve a like-minded community while creating a sustainable business that is driven by passion. By connecting this world, everyone can benefit.
As for that Dirt Addict Member’s Gift Bag, let’s take a moment to give credit for how amazing it was. Thank you to our Partners who added so much value to the full member experience.
