We started our Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in August (Women’s month) with the release of the Dirt Addict crop top by Dada Active Wear. With every crop top sold, we dedicated a portion of the proceeds to the Confetti Angel’s Zonny’s Love Box project. 

October was dedicated to bringing about Breast Cancer Awareness to our community by sharing the stories of two Cancer survivors, Crystal Kensley and Denise Vockins. We used our Facebook Live platform to chat to these incredibly strong and positive women.

To wrap up a great campaign, we celebrated with a lunch held at Koffi Terapi in Willowbridge Lifestyle Centre. Members of The Dirt Addict community were invited to cheers a glass of bubbly, connect and meet Denise & Crystal. Insightful and educational, the bittersweet afternoon was filled with laughter and tears alike as each woman experienced the highs and lows of the shared stories. 

The She is Brave Campaign was born out of this month’s efforts and will continue to serve by bringing educational information to the women’s community going forward.
