Day of Goodwill

The “Day of Goodwill” is a public holiday in South Africa, celebrated on December 26th, the day after Christmas. It was formerly known as Boxing Day but was officially renamed to emphasize community and giving back. On this day, people are encouraged to be kind, show compassion to those less fortunate, and participate in acts of charity, community service, or simply spend time with family and friends.
